Process- it’s the people that’s important!January 9, 2018
This month at The Beech Centre our theme is Process and we will share with you some of our experiences and reflections on how organisations work with Process through an Organisational Development lens.
There will also be an opportunity at the end of the month for senior leaders from our membership community and other guests to participate in a round table event, here at The Beech Centre, where we will share experiences and challenge thinking around organisational processes. We will consider whether organisational processes, as we experience them, help or hinder our people in their performance. How do people in our organisations deal with processes, do they follow them dogmatically because of fear of doing otherwise or do they acknowledge them but work around them or do they choose to ignore them completely?
So many organisations get ‘hung up’ on process alone and forget that any process is only as good as the people that are expected to work with it and yet too often we see organisations that are defined by their processes, often at the expense of their people.
